About “ISTOKI” Fund
Endowment Fund “ISTOKI” is one of the ten largest Russian endowment funds in Russia. The Fund was established in March 2013 to ensure the systemic support for fundamental institutions in society, such as family, health, education, science, historical and cultural succession. The key goal of the Fund is to manage donations with the help of modern investment and financial tools for the preservation and multiplication of the endowment and for ensuring sustainable financial support for social and publicly significant programs. Over the course of seven years, “ISTOKI” Fund has allocated about 400 million rubles for different programs and projects.

Vladimir Marchenko graduated from the Institute of Asian and African Studies of Lomonosov Moscow State University in 2003. He holds an MBA degree from the Business School of Haifa University specializing in International Business and Finances.
From 2003 to 2016, he held top positions at the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs with a focus on bilateral relations and trade and economic cooperation with Middle Eastern countries. Since 2017, he has been implementing projects related to international business and social entrepreneurship. In December 2018, he was appointed Director of Endowment Fund “ISTOKI”
