“How do communications help a non-profit grow and what does the endowment have to do with it?” – that was what Kirill Olginsky, Communications Director from “Istoki” Endowment Fund, and Evgenya Belotelova, managing partner of Philin Philgood Group of Companies, told at EndowFest*.
When the pandemic took place, the non-profit sector had to face great challenges. However, some non-commercial organizations managed to not only continue their activities but also adjust their work successfully, partially thanks to digital resources. For instance, donations at Dobro platform established by Mail.ru grew 30%, fundraising via Tooba application increased 2.5 times, while participants of charitable online-action #icare (#менякасается in Russian) managed to raise 9.7 mln rubles for foundations across the country.
The sphere of digital communication took the key place while it is often rather difficult to raise money for its tasks. It was one of the factors that inspired “ISTOKI” Endowment Fund to come up with a new project.
