The Istoki Endowment Fund continues a series of publications on Russian Endowment Channel on development of endowments and philanthropy abroad. Today we present a review of giving in the USA based on recently published data for 2018 (“Giving USA 2019: Annual Report on Philanthropy for the Year 2018”). We compared the numbers and trends with the indicators of 2017 published on our website earlier, and came to the conclusion that after several years of rapid growth there is some stabilization and even (taking into account inflation) rollback of giving in this country.
