This year, 70 non-profit organizations from 24 regions of Russia applied for acceleration. Seven will receive grants of 800k or 2 mln rubles.
The “Become Visible” accelerator was created by the Istoki Endowment Fund to support NPOs in the development of digital communications. In 2025, applications could be submitted in three main areas: support for the institution of the family, work with heritage and development of territories, education. In addition, there was a special nomination for a regional non-profit organization.
The acceleration program has been helping Russian NPOs strengthen their presence in the digital environment for several years. In just four years, 335 applications have been received from 48 regions of the Russian Federation, 25 non-profit organizations have received support for a total of over 33 million rubles. Thanks to grant support, organizations gain access to modern digital tools that allow them to expand their audience and attract new partners.
Organizations that got the first place receive grants in the amount of 2 mln rubles. Foundations that got the second place receive 800k rubles. There is also a special nomination for NPOs that operate in a non-capital region (not in Moscow or St. Petersburg), this winner will receive a grant of 800k rubles. These funds will be used to develop communication tools: creating websites and landing pages, developing SMM and communication strategies, support in social networks and email marketing. All projects will be implemented by December 15, 2025.
The 2025 winners are:
Direction: support for the institution of the family.
1st place. The Spina Bifida Foundation (Moscow) — helps families with children with congenital spinal hernia, and also supports charges with such a diagnosis in children’s and residential social institutions;
2nd place. The Service “Yasnoe Utro” (Moscow) — provides a hotline for cancer patients, as well as face-to-face consultation programs for patients, advanced training courses for psychologists, programs for specialists working with cancer patients.
Direction: education.
1st place. The Alexandra Foundation (Moscow) — provides support to people with cancer and develops volunteer programs of equal assistance for secure and qualified support of people living with an oncological diagnosis and their relatives;
2nd place. The Guardians of Childhood Foundation (Moscow) — helps teenagers from vulnerable groups make an informed choice of profession and gain their first successful work experience with the support of a mentor.
Direction: work with heritage and development of territories.
1st place. The Creative Industries of the Urals (Chelyabinsk Region) – creates popular science and art materials about the culture, history, archeology, art and ethnography of the Urals.
2nd place. Tom Sawyer Fest-Heritage Foundation (Samara Region) – foundation created to support the Tom Sawyer Fest – festival of restoration of the historical environment. The funds of the foundation are used to restore objects in the settlements – venues of the Tom Sawyer Fest.
A special prize was received by an organization that operates in a non-capital region.
Winner: Beautiful Faraway Foundation (Krasnodar Region) – helps the elderly in difficult life situations, and children with disabilities. The organization provides a wide range of support to people living on the edge of survival.
Another 10 NGOs that scored the most points will receive pro bono consultations. They will be able to receive detailed recommendations about digital tools and media positioning from Philin Philgood experts (partner of the accelerator).
