400 participants from 11 countries: Russia, Serbia, Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Italy, China, Poland, USA, Georgia and Montenegro attended the Forum this year. The “Sanctity of Motherhood” program has been implemented since 2006 and is aimed at rebuilding the capacity of family as a fundamental social institution. The Forum is organized by the St. Andrew the First-Called Foundation and Karic Foundation (Serbia) with financial support of the Istoki Endowment Fund. Previously, the Forum was held in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan and Nizhny Novgorod, and in 2018 for the first time it spilled over the borders of Russian and took place in Minsk.
Within the framework of the Forum, several round tables and discussions were held, which focused on joining forces of NGOs, business community and the state to support the institution of the family, encourage higher fertility and support young families.
