The winners of the Faith and Loyalty International Prize were announced

On December 13, on the day of St. Andrew the First-Called, the winners of the Faith and Loyalty International Prize of the St. Andrew the First-Called Foundation were awarded.

This project is supported by the Istoki Endowment Fund. It was the twenty-seventh award ceremony, which has become a good tradition! In the hall of the Kremlin Palace, where the ceremony was held, you could meet winners of previous years with a moire ribbon and an insignia of the Order.

2019 Faith and Loyalty International Prize winners are:

  • well-known military leader Vladimir Anatolyevich Shamanov “For courage and faithful service to the Fatherland”,
  • survivor of the Siege of Leningrad and philanthropist Galina Ivanovna Yakovleva “For life feat of compassionate service to fellowmen”,
  • President of Tatarstan Rustam Nurgalievich Minnikhanov “For strengthening inter-ethnic peace and harmony”,
  • serbian businessman and philanthropist Bogoljub Karić “For outstanding contribution to strengthening of friendship between the Serbian and Russian peoples”,
  • abbot of the Valaam Monastery Bishop of Trinity Pankratiy “For selfless labour to revive the Valaam monastery”,
  • head of the Center for rehabilitation of disabled children “Our Sunny World” Igor Leonidovich Spitsberg “For outstanding contribution to the creation of a system of assistance to children with disabilities”,
  • well-known educator and TV presenter Nikolai Nikolaevich Drozdov “For outstanding services in the study and preservation of the environment, the work of a scientist and a popularizer of science”,
  • outstanding Soviet and Russian actress Inna Mikhailovna Churikova “For eternal moral values embodied in images created on the screen and on the stage”.
